Kitselas Council
The Chief and Council of Kitselas First Nation act as trustees of KDC on behalf of the nation.
The council works closely with KDC’s Board of Directors to protect and promote the interests, activities and governance practices of Kitselas related to business development.
This structure has several benefits:

- Foundation for nation self-sufficiency

Board of Directors
KDC is overseen by a Board, which consists of three directors appointed by and accountable to the shareholders of Kitselas.
Edison Bolton, Kitselas Member
Edison Bolton is passionate about his people, his Nation and economic development within the Traditional Territory of Kitselas. He believes training opportunities and work experience, gained through partnerships with industry and other agencies, can make a huge difference for his people. Bolton has been involved with Kitselas Develpoment Corporation in various capacities for close to 10 years.
Jodi McKay, Kitselas Member
Jodie McKay, who has a Business degree from Thompson Rivers University, is a Financial Services Manager at the BMO Financial Group in Terrace. McKay has extensive experience in the financial services industry including management, customer service, sales, communication, and team leadership. McKay lives in Gitaus with her husband and two children.
Roger LeClerc, LeRoger Consulting
Roger Leclerc, of LeRoger Consulting Ltd., has extensive management experience in economic development, business development and education and training. He has spent a number of years working in resource-based industries in a variety of capacities from labour to management. Leclerc, who lives in Terrace, has a Master’s Degree in Leadership and Training from Royal Roads University.
Staff
KDC also has several staff responsible for day-to-day operations.
